Nicole Kallo
Speech Language Pathologist
Platte County High School & Platte City Middle School
Hello! My name is Nicole Kallo and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist for PCHS and a portion of PCMS. I am very excited to be working as a Pirate, as my family and I live in this amazing community. I am originally from Long Island, New York, but moved all over the world due to being married to a military man. After 28 years in the army, my husband, John, retired and we decided to settle in Platte City. We have been married for 29 years and have 14-year-old B/G twins (Timothy and Victoria), who will be incoming Freshman this year at PCHS. I began working as an SLP in 2000. I have done speech therapy in various settings, including outpatient rehab, a children’s hospital, and home health. Those settings were extremely enjoyable, but I love the school environment the most! I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, baking, and working out. When I have extra time, I love to crochet in front of the TV, watching the Yankees, and reruns of Big Bang Theory, Raymond, and Seinfeld.
