Hello! I'm Lisa Gundy, and I'm thrilled to be a part of Platte County School District. With a passion for biology, nature, and exploration, I bring a unique blend of experiences to the classroom. I love the great outdoors, seeking new adventures through hiking trails or discovering hidden gems in far-flung corners of the globe. I have been to over 20 countries so far! I firmly believe that travel broadens horizons and opens minds, which is why I often weave my adventures into my teaching.
I hold two bachelor's degrees from Park University one in Biology and one in Secondary Education. I also have a master's degree from Northwest Missouri State University in Curriculum and Instruction. I started teaching biology in 2018 in Hamilton, MO and am so excited to be in Kansas City which is "home" for me!
