Pirate Performer Partnership
On January 30, our advanced acting class, Pirate Performers, partnered with Siegrist Elementary for a morning of Real World Learning through theatre. High school students planned and led interactive sessions in the 1st grade elementary classrooms, teaching dance, vocal health, character voices, lighting basics, and storytelling while helping students develop puppets and performances that was part of their learning unit.
Each classroom was paired with two Pirate Performer leaders who designed their session around their own “bucket of knowledge,” making every classroom experience unique. We’re incredibly proud of our students’ leadership, creativity, and collaboration —and grateful for this meaningful partnership!
