Dr. Sarah Majors
Math Teacher
Platte County High School
Hello! My name is Sarah Majors and I teach Math at Platte County High School. I worked in finance for the first 13 years of my career. In 2012, I decided to follow my dream of becoming a teacher. I enrolled at Rockhurst University to obtain my Master of Education in middle school math. I graduated in 2014 and began my career as a teacher. In 2018, I graduated from University of Missouri with my Education Specialist degree in Technology in Schools. In 2021, I graduated from William Woods University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
My husband, Dave, and I have five children. Our oldest, Darian, is serving in the Navy and is currently stationed in Japan. We have a daughter in high school, Mallory, two in middle school, Zaiden and Kiley, and one in elementary school, Benji. We also have a Boston Terrier named Milo. We love to travel, hike, kayak, SUP, watch sports, play board games, and explore the city.
I love building relationships with students and finding ways to plug them into the high school. I genuinely care and want to help all students be successful! I can not wait to meet you all!
