Hello! My name is Sarah Majors and I teach Math at Platte County High School. I worked in finance for the first 13 years of my career. In 2012, I decided to follow my dream of becoming a teacher. I enrolled at Rockhurst University to obtain my Master of Education in middle school math. I graduated in 2014 and began my career as a teacher. In 2018, I graduated from University of Missouri with my Education Specialist degree in Technology in Schools. In 2021, I graduated from William Woods University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
My husband, Dave, and I have five children and a bonus child. Our oldest, Darian, is serving in the Navy and is currently stationed in Italy. We have a daughter that just graduated high school, Mallory, two just starting high school, Zaiden and Kiley, and one in elementary school, Benji. Our bonus child, Selyna, is 19 and moved in with us for a safe place while attending college. We also have a Boston Terrier named Milo and a boxer we rescued named Rocky. We love to travel, hike, kayak, SUP, watch sports, play board games, and explore the city.
I love building relationships with students and finding ways to plug them into the high school. I genuinely care and want to help all students be successful! I can not wait to meet you all!
