Dear students and families,

I'm thrilled to be your guide as we embark on an engaging year of English studies together! My approach in the classroom is centered around inquiry-based and project-based learning, where you take the driver's seat and explore literature, writing, and research through your own curiosity and creative vision.

My role is to help uncover your interests, stretch your imaginations, and provide resources and support as you follow your inquiries wherever they lead. I want our classroom to be a safe space for you to pose your own meaningful questions, take academic risks, and share discoveries along the way.

Through choice-driven projects, experiential learning, and real-world applications, my aim is for you to see reading, writing, and critical thinking as empowering tools for understanding yourselves and the world around you. I invite you to bring your authentic self into our explorations.

I believe we all have innate talents and insights to offer, so I'll encourage you to shine through group discussions, peer workshops, gallery walks, and presentations. Together we will build a supportive community of learners who lift each other up.

I consider it a privilege to facilitate as you unlock your academic passions and find your voice through English studies this year. I can't wait to learn alongside you and witness the inspiring work I know you're capable of!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Here's to an inquiry-fueled adventure!
