Hello! My name is Sarah Majors and I teach Math at Platte County High School. I worked in finance for the first 13 years of my career. In 2012, I decided to follow my dream of becoming a teacher. I enrolled at Rockhurst University to obtain my Master of Education in middle school math. I graduated in 2014 and began my career as a teacher. In 2018, I graduated from University of Missouri with my Education Specialist degree in Technology in Schools. In 2021, I graduated from William Woods University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
I am a single mom with two children and three dogs. My oldest, Darian, is serving in the Navy and is currently stationed in Italy. My son Zaiden , is a Junior at Park Hill and also attends the Northland Career Center. I have a Boston Terrier named Milo, a senior boxer that I rescued at 12 years old, named Rocky, and another boxer named Aysia. I love to travel, hike, SUP, watch sports, play board games, travel, and explore the city.
I love building relationships with students and finding ways to plug them into the high school. I genuinely care and want to help all students be successful! I can not wait to meet you all!
